Himo Ye

A touching documentary following artist, Danny, as he walks us through his journey immigrating to the UK. From teaching himself English, becoming a barber to earn money and battling depression, this touching documentary explores the journey to self belief.

On the lower floor of my best friend's apartment, was Danny at the barber shop. We wanted to explore the story of immigrants in the local area to give platforms to their voices and had an incredible three day journey meeting Danny's family and hearing his stories. He overcame so much adversity. He truly inspired us to name this documentary believe, Himo Ye.

Cannabliss

The legalization of cannabis has long been controversial worldwide, and England is no exception. Amidst this debate is Michael, a man who has served time for his marijuana activism, advocating for its benefits when used in controlled portions.

Through Michael's story, we explore how his beliefs about cannabis legalization have impacted his personal life and his experiences in prison, highlighting the broader implications of regulation and the challenges faced by those who champion this cause.

Have you seen my Limited Series?

Mwanzo Mwema was commissioned by the Non-Governmental Organization Girl Effect to raise awareness about the importance of vaccinating children in Tanzania. Recognizing that immunization protects against otherwise fatal conditions, the organization requested a series that portrays a family having a positive start—“mwanzo mwema” in Kiswahili. The series follows Halima as she navigates the tension between her own choices for her child and her mother’s criticism, highlighting the personal and communal impact of vaccination.
